Congratulations to the following students who received shout-outs for the week of March 17th: -Ryan Sword for having a positive attitude and always trying his best. -Chloe Vanderpool for having a good attitude and working hard. -Tessa Frye for working hard to spell CVCC and CCVC words. -Hunter McKinney for helping out during class and helping others. -Spencer Shelton for always being kind, caring, and helpful to everyone. -Caiden Creech for working hard and scoring excellent on his math growth check. -Dalton Barrett for putting up chairs, sweeping, and being a big help. -Summer Taulbee for always being respectful. -Gabreal Noel for always being ready to learn! -Anniston Mays for working hard and listening in Mrs. Johnsons group. -Preston Fox for working hard on his own to complete assignments. -Connor Hayes for working very hard in math class and showing lots of growth. -Audrey Miracle for being an awesome student and kiddo!!! -Aleeah Sizemore for having better behavior and being a positive example in class.

Perfect Attendance awards can promote a sense of purpose and encourages students to show up, resulting in an increased chance of academic success. Our students and their homerooms have competed since the beginning of our school year to be the first class with 8 days of Perfect Attendance. Our winners are pictured below: Mrs. Konarzewski's Kindergarten class came in First Place with 8 days of Perfect Attendance. Mrs. Roberts homeroom came in Second Place with 7 days of Perfect Attendance. There was a tie for Third Place between Mrs. Fox, Mrs. Maul, and Mrs. Deaton's homerooms. They all had 4 days of Perfect Attendance.

Here is an updated list of our upcoming LCE events for the remainder of January and for the month of February. The 100th Day of School is very close and tentatively scheduled for February 3rd. This will depend on if school is cancelled for weather conditions again before then. If that date changes, we will post the new date as soon as we have that information.
