TITLE I: PART A
This program provides financial assistance to schools to help disadvantaged children meet challenging content and student performance standards. Assistance must be provided first to schools with high concentrations of children from low-income families. School-wide programs must use funds for effective, reasearch-based instructional strategies that raise academic achievement for all students.
TITLE II, PART A
This program provides financial assistance to schools for preparing, training, and recruiting high-quality teachers.
TITLE II, PART D
The Enhancing Education Through Technology Act provides assistance to States and localities for the implementation and support of a comprehensive system that effectively uses technology in elementary schools and secondary schools to improve student academic achievement.
TITLE III
This program provides financial assistance to schools to help ensure that children who are limited English proficient, including immigrant children and youth, attain English proficiency.
TITLE IV
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was signed into law in December 2015. It reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA). Newly authorized under subpart 1 of Title IV, Part A of the ESEA, the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) program is intended to help meet these goals by increasing the capacity of State educational agencies (SEAs), local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and local communities to: 1) provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, 2) improve school conditions for student learning, and 3) improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students
TITLE VI, PART B, SUBPART 2
The Rural and Low-income School (RLIS) program is designed to assist rural school districts in using federal resources more effectively to improve the quality of instruction and student academic achievement.
