We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding today during our early dismissal. As a school district, we understand that early dismissal days can cause issues for our parents, students and staff so we do not make those decisions lightly.
The water main has been repaired so there will be school on Friday, November 17th.
Unfortunately, Lee Co Schools will have to close today at 1:15 pm due to a water main break. Lee County Elementary will be without water for the remainder of the day so there will be no after school activities including tutoring at LCE.
Lee County Middle High students will dismiss today at 1:15. After school activities may be available at LCMHS but coaches will coordinate on a team by team basis.
We are asking that everyone stay patient as we dismiss early. Dismissing early is not something that we like or plan to do but is necessary from time to time. Thank you for your understanding.
We would like to thank our Veteran's and their families for their participation in our Lee County Elementary Veteran's Parade today. Thank you for your service!
This is a reminder that there will be NO school in Lee County on Fri, Nov 10th in respect to our veteran's and active military. Thank you for your service!
Our students, schools & district will participate in Veteran's Programs on Thurs, Nov 9th (LCMHS) and Mon, Nov 13th (LCE).
We hope everyone has a fun filled Woolly Worm Festival. While visiting don't forget to check out our various Lee County School group vending booths. Lee County Schools appreciates our community & parent support.
Lee County Schools will be back in session on Tuesday, Oct 24th.
Next week is Bus Safety Week so Lee County Schools would like to highlight some bus safety rules. Our school buses will be on our state and county roads in the AM from 6:30 am until around 8:00 am. They will be traveling in the evenings from 3:00 pm until around 5:00 pm. Please be aware of our school buses and students because safety is our first priority.
We are off to a great start to the 2023-24 school year. Hopefully students are getting rested up today while our staff is planning for the fall and winter.
This is also a good opportunity to send out a school calendar reminder for important dates that are fast approaching.
The October 10, 2023 regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Education has been rescheduled to Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:00pm in the central office building due to a scheduling conflict.

Closing school and using NTI can put a strain on our Bobcat family so we do not make these decisions lightly. Last week our attendance was below 80% but this week we are back over 91% for the week.
We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
Due to Student and Staff Illness, there will be NO school on Tues, Aug 22nd and Wed, Aug 23rd. There will be NTI Day #1 and NTI Day #2 on Thurs, Aug 24th and Fri, Aug 25th.
